Quiet Prayer / Meditation

Do you ever find yourself searching for that quiet place ?

We have received an invitation to all from Martin Garsed who writes :

"Mark Fagg and I, who coordinate the Quiet Prayer / Meditation group in Seasalter would like expand it and encourage others to join. It may attract those a bit on the edge or unhappy in "formal church " or with life in general and in our very troubled times.

We will be meeting on alternate Tuesdays from October the 11th at 7pm in the SSCC for half an hour. Everyone welcome”

" That quiet place is
Where I strive to get through my
Endless distractions...

That quiet place is
A gift beyond words and thoughts
Unbidden bounty...

That quiet place is
Stillness under the surface
Which keeps on moving...

The prayer of quiet draws us ever deeper into the Mystery that is worth growing familiar with but is ultimately unknowable in its totality but aides us on our way...."
