Christmas 2020 at All Saints
Christmas at All Saints Church Whitstable -www.allsaintswhitstable.com
We would like to invite you to our church this Christmas time for an uplifting time together after what for many has been a truly difficult year.
However, because of Covid-19 restrictions we are having to limit our 320 seat capacity to a maximum of 48 seats per service with 2 metre distancing and the compulsory use of face masks. Advanced booking will be essential for all the additional church services we are having to put on.
Please see below for our service times. This year is particularly complicated so we are having to send this out now so that pre-booking can take place effectively.
Please email Rev Simon Tillotson at firstname.lastname@example.org to book your seats.
Once seating is confirmed you will be sent your tickets by email attachment in an A4 booking confirmation format with the number of guests permitted under your name. It is important you all arrive as one group so we can allocate the seats that will have been reserved for you under your name. Please give your first and last name on arrival so we can verify your booking.
If you do not have a printer at home we can send you your A4 booking confirmation by post if you send us a stamped addressed envelope.
Services on Christmas Eve and close to Christmas Eve are likely to go the quickest and at the time of writing on 16th October were already about a third full.
All tickets are free of charge.
We are though asking all those attending to make a donation to All Saints to help with our financial deficit for the year which is considerable due to the loss of hall and wedding income this year.
Sadly singing is currently not permitted in our churches but we will be listening to carols, hearing readings and poems, and reflecting on the true meaning of Christmas.
If we have to cancel because of increasing tightening of restrictions we will email all those who have contacted us.
Please arrive early so you can be seated at 2 metre distance from those outside your household or bubble. Please let us know if your group need to sit apart too. This is sometimes the case if you are booking for friends who you are not in a bubble with.
We are keeping some tickets back for those not on email. Here are the service times:
What is the content of each service and when do they take place?
